It is a Chinese auction. Everyone receives a certain amount of tickets when they arrive. The prizes are layed out on tables. You put tickets in the container for whatever prizes you would like to win. You can put as many tickets in for a prize as you want. There will be prizes you are not interested in and you do not have to put tickets in for them. As the evening goes on and after everyone put their tickets in a ticket will be drawn out of the container. Who ever has that ticket wins the prize. You can win more than one prize.  t^

That is, unless the rules are changed this year.  TT^

Two more prizes to add to the list....

The first is a Gardening gift basket for the ladies that my wife Becky put together.  Includes a planting barrel, watering can, flower bulbs, tools, Miracle Grow, garden decor, etc, etc.

The other is an assortment of surf / jetty rigs and lures.  Includes a Plano organizer, AVAs, soft plastics, lead, Sabiki rig, mullet rig and a bunch of hand tied surf rigs.

Just received a package from Mike's Custom Plugs (http://www.mikescustomplugs.com/page/page/4383275.htm) yesterday.  Mike is one of the premier custom wood plug makers in the Northeast.  He makes some truly amazingly beautiful and fish catching lures.  clp
I almost hit the floor when I opened the box!  Mike donated close to 30 plugs with a total value over $600! thud

I was just getting ready to send another donation to the SSFFF and was going to include the price of the bus ticket that you so kindly gave my friend. Instead I think I    offer to buy 30 bucks of raffel tickets  .......either way the money goes to great causes  looking forward to an enjoyable night and hopfully an future Monger trip

I looked around but could not find any place. The only place I could find was the Ho Jo about 10 miles away.

The Holiday Inn is about 15 minutes south.

From what I remember this place is pretty nice. ;)  It's about 3 minutes from the Captain's Inn.  Stay away from the Forked River Motel or Lacey Inn or whatever they're calling it now. :P
