Hi All,
Here is a nice spot for the family to enjoy and maybe have a picnic as well. The park is located in South Toms River right in the middle of the Toms River. Easy access right on the east side of Rt 166. I will post a map as the traffic pattern across the river has changed.
This is a bulkheaded area that will give you plenty of room to cast a line without tangling with your neighbor. Crabbing is good up here as well. The area is known for crabbing as well as fluke, weakfish and blues as they all come up here to partake in the large amount of bait fish in the river.
There are no facilities at this park but there is plenty of parking spaces to handle a good crowd.
Google Map:

Again the traffic pattern has changed because of a new bridge over the river so pay attention. Google maps does not reflect this change yet.
Happy Catching

Anyone fish here recently? Went the other night with my daughter to check it out. Wondering what everyone was fishing for.
