Title: NJ Fishing Locations, Ocean Gate to Berkeley
Post by: ped579 on August 04, 2007, 06:56:52 PM
Hi All,

Another report, this time it a series of little loctions for you to try.  I have seen many people at these spots so I am sure they produce something.  Probably this tome of year I am guessing snappers for the most part.

zI have to warn you though I would not have the kids fish these as they are right along he roadway.

The road stretches from Ocean Gate to Berkeley Island County Park. It is Bayview Ave.  There are areas at some spots and others you will have to park on a side street.

Google Maps starts in the northern section just drag it to go south.  Watch as Bayview Ave does a couple of weird turns so look at the map and print it out.

There is one small pier to try along this stretch and that is by the old Windows on the Bay restaurant that is closed now, Buttler Blvd.  There is plenty of parking and the pier goes out about 75' or so.

Happy Catching
