Well today I realized that September is my favorite month to fish. In September you probably have the most species available to catch. You still have the summer species like fluke, but you also start getting a lot of fish that only show up for a little while like kingfish, blowfish, and weakfish, it is also the start of the fall migration with bass and big blues starting to move in. Probably my favorite part about fishing in September is the weather, not too hot like in July, and not too cold like in December. What do you guys think?

Cold crisp nights, dark star lit surf, holidays around the corner...November

Well, not THIS September, but it usally is better. I can't pick a single month, since here in NJ we have a fantastic fishery year round, if you choose to bundle up and go. Spring Stripers are great, summer months brings both fish and bikini clad women, fall Stripers,Albies,Bonito,Tuna, Winter Tog, Mackeral etc. It's really unfair to have to choose. I'm going with the challenging December Tog fishing, it seperates the fisherman from the wannabe's. <'((((><

April, only because I did OK with Bass last year, it starts to warm up & you can get away from those cold cabin fever months
-
October. Nice sized blues and bass around. Second would be August, for warm waters, weather, and SHAAAAAAKS!
-
Gotta be June. Huge stripers on bunker with some early fluke action...
-
As a boater, I have to say late March or early April. The stripers are in and the anticipation of a new season, you just can't beat that excitement.
-
I like to fish any month that has 28 days in it. TT^
But I would say my favorite(s) is May/June for the striped ones. t^

I love May Stripers on the bunker run and Noember stripers on eels. Not to mention clamming them in April, Not a big Fluke fan,,
-
I hoping for October. Ill vote in bout 2-3 weeks... ;D
-
Late May, livelining for Stripers.
After that I would say late November, throwing topwater lures t^
-
This is a good question. From a boat, I like augist because I like fluke fishing. But November is the best for striper fishing. So do I like the comfort of the boat rather than the big game hunt of the striper?
I'll let you know after this season. But I'll tell you, us older guy's still have the fight in us, just like those older stripers do.
