Went out around 9. Rounded the rock wall and was greeted with 3,4,5,6 ft swells with a cap on top.
Took a cold ass shower on the way the the fishing grounds. Dropped the hook and had 2 bites then nothing the wind was a steady 15 mph with the waves that go with it.
Moved after 30 minutes and got 1 porgie and a lizard fish. Was goona head to the bass grounds but it was just to nasty...Turned back to port and took another beating and shower....Owell next time.
I tried to load a video but it said some thing cant support it???

For your safety, next time I think you should check the weather service forcast which yesterday did predict that the winds would be honking today out of the N/NW.

Capt Carl is right on. Wind against tide, especially this time of year, can be dangerous. N/NW winds are the dominant wind directions during the fall and you must consider your sailing options throughout the tide cycles on the water as Carl and I do on every charter. Now you see why guys in this business get old FAST!
