Well headed out today with member Larry S. and my nephew Matthew. We ran into Luna Sea while getting Peanuts.. Thenm hit the SHC for fluke.. inthe morning it was drop and reel..then it slow down to a moderate pick.. We got some blues that were smashing small spearing or rain fish.. End the day with 6 nice keepers to 22"s and then my big suprize.. A small Thresher sharker!! The sharkk was awesome on lite tackle,, everyone watching the aerial show it put on !!
maybe sunday a repeat..

i heard on the radio that someone from the Ambrose got a Thresher, didn't know it was you... nice catch... did you catch him on a peanut bunker.

yeah.. it first smashed a skate we thru over then nailed the peanut bunker.. there were guys getting bitten off by bigger threshers in the ambrose.. we nailed her at the SHC!! maybe sunday weather permitting

Well at least some people caught fish today...LOL....The fish gods were getting even with me today for taking that door mat two weeks ago. Caught alot of fish. They just needed to grow up a little more. Oh yea..and we ran into these Sykk Guy's and there thresher shark....At least we made it back to the dock before the heavens opened up. Thanks for the heads up on the radio about the approaching storm. Then just too top things off some azz wipe security guy at AH Marina starts mouthing off and getting smart with me for absolutely no reason at all. It took me a half a minute to even realize he was directing his comments to me. I had all I can do to keep my cool and not walk over and choke the living crap outta this guy. All I could think was that maybe he had not taken his medication today... LMAO....

Hey, Joey thanks for the call and the heads up on the second storm that was heading our way. Here is a photo of it approaching as we got to the dock.
We didn't get on the water until 3:00 and had to deal with two major thunder storm. We did catch about 10 short fluke and one keeper in the 1.5 hour we actually fished.

The small thresher was release!!.. Thanks all .. hopefully we can get out this week!

I just noticed the colors on that shark. That is fantastic and beautiful. Was it more vibrant when it first came out of the water?

Little thresher was caught on a penn 975, and quantum 7' inshore..It was awesome watching this little guy riped line and go aerial for a while.. then he netted it ,, photos, showed her off , and release!! I have a permit to keep, but was small in size, and was a little female also!
