Title: Sept 19, Salmon River, Pulaski NY. Lake Ontario

In case you guys forgot it

2 Packages of low fat creme cheese
1/2 cup mayo
Sprinkle of Garlic powder
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 tablespoons of Worchestire sauce
2 tablespoons Lime juice
Salt to taste. Grind sea salt over the top of the mixture and stir in.

Morning Report, Rick and I setup in the river this morning 6:20am. We don't baitfish we throw lures all day on light 10' noodle rods with spinners spooled with 14lb test mono. I got a nice hit "FISH ON!!"and started reeling but he mighty Salmon had other plans. It went down river "coming down", then it ran across the river "Coming Across!" then up river "Coming Up" , well you get the idea. It came by the boat and took off again. Rick was standing ready with the net when it came boatside so he took a shot at the fish like a marine sniper but the wind blew hard and the net snagged on the boats cleat. cfzd Doohh!
The beast ran again to try to save his life one more time. Next shot with the net was right on and It was in the boat for a high five session. Twenty minutes later his big brother joined him in the cooler for family reunion. Both of these fish were naturally spawned and had no hatchery tags or markings. Kevin at the fillet station said this season looks very good so far. We will be heading out for another shot this evening with pawle and Kenny for a team NJSWF showdown.

We took a trip to the tackle shop for some lake lures. We also visited the hatchery. We will head out at 4:30 for our evening fishing adventure. ;D cfzd

I don't do landscape, my son cuts the lawn. One of the reasons I had kids.

If we don't go back to Hawaii in April or May we might just be up there for something different to do instead of fishing the CBBT.

Post by: Kenny on September 24, 2012, 07:53:30 PM: Got in last night bout 6:30 7ish and got jumped buy the wife and kids that wanted to hear all the details of my trip...couldn't get posted up last night so here goes.....

Our trip in one word: AWESOME !!!!!

Got up there a day later than Rick and Ed and was met at the camp ground with a cold beer to get re-hydrated from the 4 hour drive up, one can never be too careful about the proper hydration ;D chrz chrz

Got in on the Thursday night trip and caught my first ever Salmon ;D ;D maybe a 20 lber and man do these fish fight....to the bitter end...when they hit the cooler they never make another sound for they are down for the count and use all their energy in the fight, It's like catching a yellowfin tuna in a river t^

Woke up Fri @ 4:30am to the smell of fresh brewing coffee ;D...shaked off the cobwebs and out the door to get setup to fish the morning bite, fish hard then back to the trailer (or should I say the Tal Mahal...Ricks got a beautiful and very comfortable trailer ) for lunch and some unwinding and hydration chrz and back out for the early evening bite...fish hard and back to the Taj and grab some tastie food ( Thanks Eddie t^)...and more hydration chrz chrz...

And repeated the above Sat and then got in a Sunday morning trip before hitting the road and coming back to reality :'(

What a great time...good eats, conversation, laughs and fishing !!! Enjoyed the live video feed from NJSWF Central that Rod was providing....we were laughing our a$$es off rofla rofla....too funny...

I can't thank you enough Rick for not only the invite but how hard you worked up there getting us on the fish...not to mention all the work prior to the trip you did in getting the trailer and boat prepped and up there and all the other logistics involved in making a trip like that possible t^ t^ t^ Your an amazing host to say the least...Thanks again !!!
