Title: FISHERMEN/Still hungry Fluke around! Monday.
Post by: 1captainron on September 24, 2012, 04:11:09 PM
After 3 days of a crappy ocean and a terrible bite, today it turned around!

Went right to were I have been fishing for 2 weeks, catching bigger fish, first drift produced 8 keepers and some shorts. Banged away all day of shorts and keepers with some Very nice Sea Bass in the mix also.
Andy Seney, Union Beach gave the Monday boys a fishing leason today with his high hook 4 keepers and 4 nice Sea Bass. Couple guys had three, Art and his son fishing in the bow landed 7 nice fish.

Pool fish went to Eddie with a very nice 7 pound 3 ounce fish.
Long time Captain Barry Goldman, (Old Salty) finally landed his dinner with a very nice 4 pound fish after many toss backs!
Beautiful day on the water, nice not to have to pick everything up off the floor in the wheelhouse for a change.
5 days left, looks like we may end it on a happy note!
