Out of Keyport at daylight Capt Don SR and Cappy Don jr,threw the net and loaded the live well with large peanuts,Had clams on board,thanks to Capt Z,AKA PILOT who drop some clams off.Headed for the hook and on the way BIRDS t^ working.Got out the metal and started throwing,all blues.Left the deamons bitting.Tried the candle sticks first,not even a bite.HIT THE RIP,still out going.Acouple of run offs and MISSIS THEN finally a striper 24" on the live peanut,a couple of large blues and then a 29" stripper.A couple of more misses and then NADA.Called it a day. chrz

The Striper bite up by us seems to be like last year. Slow, after the snow storm "irene" in 2011 they went South.. :P
