Went on the Golden Eagles "striperthon" trip with my brother and dad, striperthon is 6 am to 4 pm. Once I got on the boat I met another NJSW member John t^ I believe his username is Fish Hud but I forgot I am beat tired. Very nice guy and I believe he had the high hook for the boat t^
Anyways, fishing was slow for the most part. Started off going south, and we kept going south for the day. There was 1 drift that was very good, but was all blues a bit north of Seaside I believe. We still kept going south and ended up by IBSP before it got good again. Most people like my dad were able to get some blues and I know John caught several. Some drifts were hit or miss. Most people seemed to finish with 1 or 2 blues, my brother got the skunk but hes not a real fishermen or tried. The boat finished with 6, maybe 8 keepr stripers.
