Title: Sat fishing report..
Post by: SPEEDRUG on October 14, 2007, 10:30:35 PM
Was planning to stay local under the Verrazano for weak or blues...Got one blue and 1 short sea bass and a couple short porgies...Decided to go to breezy point to see whats out there..Got there and seen some boats reeling some albies....First time to witness this...WOW.. was talking to one boat who reeled in his second alby and was telling us albies are bad fish to eat??????

We rigged up our poles to start jigging for them but I think we failed because of 2 things..
1. Used wire leading with jigs because of the blues
2. Our jigs were a bit to big..
any suggestions?
