Title: Penn Rampage Jigging Rod
Post by: Luna Sea 5 on April 01, 2015, 05:13:47 PM
just ordered 2 of these.. WOW.. I am very pleased as the pole is thin and can hold 10oz of lead without even a bend.. Matching them up with my Penn 7500ss and it looks like a perfect combo..

highly recommended..

How do you see the rubber gimbal holding up?  I like the idea of that. Rod may not slide around as much.

it looks really good.. thick but with great grip for jigging, yet light and sensitive..

I'm looking forward to checking them out.
We use two P 750s for deep water jigging matched with custom 7ft. med. tapered rods,Hapalon(med)grips and locking reel seat by Fugi to keep weight down.
We use the Big Crocs,Devils, and Metals which seem to work really nice on the vertical pull. They have enough length and power in a strong current.

I think you going to love your new set up.Put Uncle Luna on one and your Brother on the other and you will tip the scale.
