Sorry for the late report. I had a few hours to kill with the wife and the kids so we tried our hand at crabbing. We hit an area right on the other side of the canal that had been good to us last year. We anchored up in about 2' of water on the end of the outgoing tide in about 64 degree water. As soon as the tide started to weaken we began getting good bites. In a matter of a couple hours the kids had caught about 2 dozen+ crabs with about half in the keeper range. We left them for another time.
It was a good trip to keep the older kids interested and a great trip to help baby Jack get his sea legs. I also managed to do some light maintenance on the boat.

I haven't been skunked yet. I went out for a couple real short trips and had a couple blues each time. So, take that! msfsh
