Title: 6/13
Post by: Fisherman120 on June 13, 2015, 08:59:16 PM
2 reports for today, morning and evening. Fished from 8-11 in the morning and fluking was overall pretty slow, got the skunk. I had 1 fish that whole time and it was a nice one, somewhere in the 20-22 inch range. The thing that sucks is I lost it about 4 feet from the beach. She shook her head, spit the hook, sat there and laughed at me for 10 seconds then swam away.

Wasn't planning on fishing the evening but I had some time and knew it was high tide so I went to a close by jetty that I've never fished before. After the morning expectations were low but I was happy to land 1 fish in an hour. This one just barely made the mark at 18 inches.

Went back out yesterday morning(6/14.) No good action again, ended with 1 that barely made the 18 inch mark, that was my only bump the whole time. Usually this time of year is best for the SI surf, I'm shocked at how slow it's been.
