Email I reveived from NJDEP today,,
As part of the "If You Can't Keep It, Save It" campaign, the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife, in coordination with Eagle Claw and the American Sportfishing Association, is making 20,000 free hooks available to anglers fishing for summer flounder. The list of bait and tackle shops distributing the hooks is available here: http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/pdf/marine/flounderhook_shops.pdf .
For more information on summer flounder and releasing them properly, visit http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/fluke.htm on the Division's website; for information about the hook distribution and the "If You Can't Keep It, Save It!" campaign, see the DEP news release at http://www.nj.gov/dep/newsrel/2017/17_0076.htm .
