Got up to get the newspaper, ended up going fishing. One of the many things that can happen during the season when all your gear is kept in your car. lol. Anyway, on the beach by 630. started at Gillikins and worked my way south tossing SP's and even a few bucktails. Once I hit the inlet, worked my way back north tossing poppers and shads. Nothing to show. Saw a ranger pick up a seal and put it in the truck bed. I'm assuming was dead. Unsure how. Left the park at about 10am. Lots of people out fishing the beaches and plenty of boats also. Heard there was a surf fishing tournament down there but no fish were weighed in
