Title: GAMBLER-- Stripers and offshore Seabass
Post by: Capt Bogan on December 15, 2017, 02:21:51 PM

Only a couple guys showed this morning,  so we did not make it out. The crew did a little boat-maintenance and went outside the inlet to make sure everything was tight. We saw birds working a half mile from the inlet and couldn't resist trying in the midst of it. Immediate action on small bass. They hit shads, AVAs and teasers. Caught 20 or 30 fish in the span of an hour. Released all. Fish ranged small to slot-sized. I believe there are still some bigger ones around.

We still have plenty of bonus tags avaible on board. No charge for these.

Our galley is open with hot food,  snacks and coffee.

The Gambler has not been fishing recently due to weather but we are hoping to get out this weekend. We'll shape up both days but Sunday looks like nicer day weather-wise.

We will continue to shape-up every morning unless the weather forecast is evil. It would be awesome to catch bass into the New Year!

We will not be striped bass fishing on Friday Dec 22nd and Saturday Dec 23 because we will be on our offshore sea bass trips

Please note that we still have plenty of room on our upcoming sea bass trips. Check our Site at gamblerfishing.net or call Jill at 732-295-7569 for latest updates
