Title: Island beach reports??

Anything happening at island beach? I've been there early mornings the past few weekends throwing all sorts of metals and lures but no luck. Lots of casting practice. Seems all the action is offshore. 5hrug

Check out Al Ristori's blog on the Star Ledger website. He does a lot of surf fishing and posts what lures have been catching along the shore.  blog link (http://www.nj.com/shore/blogs/fishing/)

Haven't gone for a while but needless to say, I didn't have a great year down there. Didn't hear much from my network all year either. I did hear last week some schoolies were blitzing in Manasquan inlet but anything else I heard was boatwise or cape may county for surf
