Post by: capt ric on February 12, 2018, 07:57:51 AM
went out late on Charter 2cs with Ernie Whitt former Blue Jay and Phillie catcher who has a place in Dunedin,he now is employed as an international scout for the Phillies, hogfishing finally broke open about 14 miles out in the gulf, water is still cold but we had several fish in the 4-5 lb range, there is a 14 inch minimum which is strictly enforced by F and G, its similar to togging if u Jersey guys get a chance, porgy action was slow but we had some good size blacksea bass, also the snappers were mostly small, weather is great with air temps around 80
