The Gambler and crew are anticipating the fluke start, beginning this Friday, the 25th. Along with the fluke, we are hoping to encounter some nice sea bass on our drifts. The water is finally warming up nicely and we are hoping for the best. The Gambler will be running 1/2 days, 8AM till 12:30 and 2PM till 6:30 everyday (except Tues, May 29th) Looking forward to posting a report. Also, captain Bob is offering a free trip to the fortunate angler that catches the first keeper fluke of the season. All our regular crew is back and we are looking forward to seeing our long time patrons as well as some new faces.
Our night trips will also kick off on the 25th, leaving Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 and returning by 12;30, fishing for striped bass and possibly some blues. We will be rigged and ready to fish for bass in whatever way works best to get cows into the boat. After this weekend, the Gambler will be fishing nights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for striped bass until the end of June.
