Title: Pleasure boat sinks in Atlantic Highlands harbor
Post by: njbob49 on July 10, 2018, 09:25:44 AM
I was just looking at the AH harbor webcam and thought I saw a sunken boat, AH harbor cam (http://ahnj.com/ahnj/Harbor/)  A quick Google search turned up this article. boat sinking article (http://www.ahherald.com/newsbrief/local-news/25645-vessel-sinks-at-atlantic-highlands-harbor)

Apparently they drove over the old pilings at the entrance during high tide yesterday.  I always wondered why they were never removed.  They have been there for a very long time.

Ouch, that sucks. At least everyone was able to get out at the dock.

I’ve seen a few boats get caught up on the pilings. They should at  least mark them if not remove them.
