Title: Roosters Flukin 7-12-2018
Post by: Peterooster on July 12, 2018, 07:01:44 PM
With the storm Chris 600 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean and dire beach warnings and beach closures, fishing the ocean was not an option. Shrewsbury Channel turned out to be very productive with many short Fluke and two Sea Robins. Tom picked up a 18.5” Fluke and two hours into the outgoing tide he landed a seven pound Fluke. No keepers for me, but Tom likes to share. Sea Robin strips were the hot bait along with Tom’s giant Killies. A nice day on the water with a cool easterly breeze and no one else fishing near us, we had the place all to ourselves. Pete
