Title: Keyport Fluke
Post by: Salty Dog on July 18, 2018, 09:01:56 PM
Got a late start and had the big mesh cast net to top things off .So , no peanuts . Ben did have killies and he saved the day .Standard bucktail rig and drag bait rig worked equally good .Predicted wind was 5 to 10 out've the north . Yeah right . 15 to 20 with gusts to 25 .And I choose welding as a career . Fished local with 1 to 1 1/2 knot drift . First trip this season with wind and tide in sync . Managed to put 4 keepers in the box , along with all the sea robins one could wish for . Had a couple of doggies thrown in for good measure . Bite was great early and then it was like a switch was thrown , they all but turned off . 5hrug . Tight lines All .
