Title: GAMBLER-- Better action on the Fluke grounds!
Post by: Capt Bogan on August 09, 2018, 08:57:23 PM
The Gambler's half day fluke trips have been producing plenty of action to keep all anglers happy.
Went and tried some different areas yesterday afternoon. First couple drifts we had nonstop action on small fluke. Moved out into deeper water and started to get steady bites on mixed sized fluke with a good amount of keepers in the 3 to lb range.
We decided to head back in the same direction as yesterday afternoon and we had plenty of bites to go around the whole boat. Lots of action with shorts, sea robins and skates with some quality keeper fluke up to 6.9 lbs.
Captain Bob will be at the helm for night trips starting this Thursday. The ling fishing has been very good overall this season. We are Nite Wreckin on Thursday and on Friday and Saturday the Gambler is geared up for multi species, including blues, ling, mackerel and squid. We are ready for anything and everything.
Our Shark in the Dark trips are back by popular demand. Take a look at our site for dates and details.
