Post by: Fightin Irish on September 11, 2018, 12:32:27 PM
Just trying to see if anyone has Repowered lately and what dealer s are good.  Has anyone gotten the new mercury 3.4 v6.  Does anyone have the Suzuki and there likes and dislikes. Last would be the 4.2 Yamaha  size I’m looking at is twin 225hp with digital controls and gauges

Prior to going diesel, we ran a Seahunter 35 with twin 300’s. I have also had great results, minor issues and couldn’t be happier with Suzuki. We used a local dealer near us and had nothing short of superior service if an issue arose. Down time was always kept to minimum. Reliability and durability were never an issue. If you’re handy, minor maintenance is a breeze. Good luck  chrz

I just repowered a customer's older Mako with a new Zuke 250. Motor was purchased from Chestnut Neck boat yard. Roger, the Zuke guru has been there  over 30 yrs. All mechanical controls. C-10 gauge. Hyd. steering. Customer loves it.
