Title: NJ Fishing & Boating Weather Outlook Weekly Nov 26-Dec 2, 2018

A more settled week for weather, except for the start and end and water conditions are mostly cautious or worse. Monday will bring a strong low pressure system through the area. The system will track very near or along the coast bringing heavy rains, flooding, coastal flooding, high winds, high seas, heavy surf, and beach erosion. Rains will bring flash and localized flooding, in addition to coastal flooding at high tides. Coastal areas will see minor to even moderate flooding, when coupled with heavy rains. Temperatures will be moderate on Monday in the 40’s and 50’s with lows in the 30’s. Behind this system on Monday, will bring a cold front with seasonal temperatures. Tuesday through Friday will be mostly dry. On Wednesday, Northern Areas could see some snow showers. Highs will be in the 30’s and 40’s with lows in the 20’s and 30’s. Saturday and Sunday will have chances of rain showers starting Saturday Night with highs increasing to the 40’s and 50’s with lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Water conditions will be cautious to hazardous all week, with good to borderline conditions on Saturday. Hazardous water conditions return for Sunday. During the week, winds will blow over 40 knots with seas to 15 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious. Water temperatures are in the 40’s and 50’s.

Low pressure will move through Great Lakes on Monday, dragging a cold front through the region in the afternoon. Low pressure will remain to the north of our area through mid week. High pressure will build in Thursday into Saturday. Another low could affect our region early next week.
