Oh well maybe Monday. The water looked great the wind was out of the ENE at about 10 mph. No birds working sign #1. Saw no fish being caught up and down the beach, sign #2 in fact most anglers I saw were hunkered down on the Lee side of there vehicles napping, sign #3.
But I have to say the State Park Police were catching. We drove down to the inlet and saw an empty SPP car and once we saw where they were my hat goes off to them. They were walking a male and female off the jetty with heads hanging low.
I took one look at their veh. and saw there was no sticker on it. I bet either they had black Sea Bass (which are out of season till Wednesday) or they themselves were not registered.
Either way they got caught. I wonder what the fine is. They did not look happy.
I'm going to have to stop in the office of the Park Police and find out next week. It might be an eye opener and a big deterrent to others.

Yeah, I know but it is scary at least for me right now. I haven't been on the sand for close to 5 years now and with the hips and now the back I was not looking forward to walking on the sand in fear of what ever.
I guess it is part of getting u7p there in age as well. But the wife is pushing me to get back out there and with her help I am BACK...
I will have to make a couple more hurdles and we will be back full bore. They might seem small to some but for me they all seem like mountains.
Enough of that, the bottom line is I'm back and glad to be on the beach once again.
Tight lines and bent rods everyone.
Oh yeah don't forget to register... ovrbt
