Made a early run to catch tide change in the inlet in the am for a strictly fluke run.
Lost a bucktail to the rocks 2nd cast and took the wind out of my sails. Moved to the beach with a move that proved worth it. First cast hooked up with a short.
Moved to a new hole and pulled a 16.5" out of the surf. Moved yet again to drop a real short at my feet. Lost yet another half way in.
Seen others hopping hole to hole as I was and they where catching plenty of shorts.
Most seemed to be on chartruess.
