Title: Friday 11/6 striper report
Post by: kpcoe on November 06, 2020, 04:23:49 PM
Out on other members boat Bob from Fluke U.....came out the Hudson River and it looked very fishy..... birds, bunker and bass busting.... a dream come true...... under a hazy early sky which eventually became clear.  Caught plenty early with all sizes including a few overs , schoolies and just rights!...... kinda died on the jig action so on the troll we went.... I brought my favorite rig and Bob had his .... was a great challenge as Bob pulled a Trump out to an early lead but just when he thought he had it won I started stuffing 2 at a time .... it’s under recount but I believe he will concede in the end....   any way I left him my favorite rig as a token of appreciation and also a reminder..... when his rig doesn’t produce and he goes to old faithful..... he must say Kevin you were right!.....great day with Cousin D catching plenty also! Thanks Bob!.... did hear calls of big bass at Romers and we eventually hit outer edge of Ambrose which was also quiet fishy.... lots of hookups
