Luna Swim plugs
« on: January 09, 2009, 05:58:17 PM »
I wanted to show the forum a new 8" swimming plug that is worth checking out....

Avid fisherman and long time friend Nick Luna has taken plug building to an entire new level of workmenship in 2009....

Nick has come up with the luna 08 swimming plug which is 8" long with 3/0 vmc hooks and wolverine split rings for a stong hook set on those big fish...

The luna 08 now comes in many colors all which have been proven to catch fish....

They look nice!!  I would be interested as well in weight, depth they swim and cost.  Always up for trying a new plug out.

Sorry.... Didn't have the chance to get back on the site to update your questions...

This plug comes in at 3oz.... The plug also has the hooks placed just right.... so that the hooks don't get caught up in each other after the cast...These plugs swim up on the surface with a side to side action that looks like the real thing....

Nick told me that he will have them at the Asbury Park fishing Show this year...

The cost of the plug's are around $30.00 each which is better then most custom plugs sold today.... I have showed this plug at a some of the local B&T and they love the workmanship and the colors....

I cant wait for the bunker run this season.... To get mine in the water.... for some great top water fun with those big bass....

Looks like we will have another Nick Luna on the site.

Cool!  I like to support local plug makers...even better when it is someone's friend from the list.  The Asbury Park "Show" is a great place to get locally made plugs at good prices...one's that don't break the piggy bank.  You just have to get there early or they are all gone :P!
