Back in Action
« on: April 29, 2009, 08:27:45 PM »
 grtnHello Everyone,

Well things are all settled down with me now and I plan on posting again. So to start with I put the boat back in last thursday, still in Shark River, at the same marina, different slip though.  Was able to enjoy the weather over the weeekend slept on the boat saturday night and went out sunday morning. The water was nice and calm, the water temp down in Manasquan was 47 and I wasn't able  to get any bites from those winter flounder. Trolled up to Shark River without any action. Shot up to the Rocks and dropped some fresh clams to the bottom with only a skate. Temp at the rocks was 53. The air temp was a little chilly but it felt good to get out this year. chrz  Sounds like you had a nice party, Sorry I couldn't make it I was away.
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!

Hey Vinnie, good to see you back. Can't wait for the season to start. You will like the slip that you are now in, it was mine for several years until I moved to the inside. Beats the hell out of walking the plank to get on the boat.  ;D

Have a great season. Looking forward to your posts/reports. See you at the dock. t^
