Wet Dreams 5/13 Raritan Bay
« on: May 13, 2009, 08:44:52 PM »
Had the John Quigley group out today and got off to a bit of a late start....headed for the south east side of Romer and dropped the hook east of the fleet...not much action at all anywhere around us...everyone picking up...running to ambrose side of romer then coming back...we stayed put had a few run offs but not much action...picked up and headed to the knoll...instant bluefish....not ideal but it kept the charter happy so i cant complain! thick fog bank rolls in, tide changes and we are starting to get beat up laying in the troughs...picked up and headed to the flats...dropped the hook and had instant bluefish again on the clam but the bass finally showed  up and we put 3 in the box....biggest was 31....late bite on the outgoing seems to be the routine as of late!!!!!!!!!
not the best day but not the worst either!!!!!!!!

Looked pretty soupy out there. The outgoing seems to be the ticket.  Nice fish!
