Left Wagner's marina in Keyport at 5:15am with a bushel of Clams. I had Chris (Cashin) and neighbor John, (new nickname is Johnny deadstick donuts) He caught many fish while deadsticking and sticking a powdered donut in his mouth. t^..  We motored down to the south side of romer Schoal in the fog. Visability was around 75 yards.  We dropped anchor and started chumming the outgoing tide. Some short Striper's were coming over the side. A clam boat showed up about a 100 yards south of us and was making plenty of noise. :-\  A few charter boats anchored up next to us and were chumming clams too.  The tide was slowing down, we had 7 Striper's with one Keeper so I decided to go to the back of the Raritan near Round schoal light. I got a call from A.J (peggylee) on th VHF, Nice to hear a familiar voice on the radio slt, He was fishing around the Sandy Hook area.  A dozen boats were fishing the Round Schoal area but we were not catching anything but bluefish. We made one more move off of Keyport and Caught around 30 bluefish on Clams and topwater plugs. We got back to the Marina at 1pm. Cashin said he was going to cook up some Cajun Striper burgers.  t^ Nice job Eddie! Would be nice if made a video to show us how to deadstick donut fish.

Nice report Eddie.  A couple of buddies of mine were out and got donut (no powdered ones) on the stripes but managed a handful of blues.  You keep catch them  slt
