5/16 Annual Cod Trip to Marshfield Mass, 2 Boats Limit out

Had our 16th annual Crew, Family and Friends Cod trip to Marshfield Mass (Green Harbor) with Mate Matt, Capt. Mike Jim, Charlie, Dave, Mike Sr, Mike Jr, Rich, Billy, Walt, Pat and myself.

Sailed on the Big Mac with Capt Dave (Capt Jim is in Hospital) and Capt Bill on the 4 Sons.

Day was calm and Foggy, hardly any wind. jumped right out to the hot spot and started slamming the Cod.  Many Doubles and tripples, all Market size fish a lot just missing the 24" mark by an inch or so.  Bite died, Capt Bill headed west to try for Haddock, we bumped north for some more cod action. Finished the day back where we started getting some nice 28-30" fish.

Both boats limited on Cod and had a good pull of Haddock.

Capt Bob won the 2 Boat pool with my Largest Cod a nice 10 + lber....thanks boys for the donation.

Plenty of Whale action all around had one 30' from the boat.


A great time with great guys.....both boats are fantastic.

5 hrs to where we were. Not a bad drive, we drive up the day before, stay overnight, fish, stayovernight and come home.

We rent a house for the group....have it down pretty good costs $350 for the fishing, 2 nights stay in the house and food (Not including Rum and Beer  ::) )
