Pops Soul Mamorial Day Report
« on: May 25, 2009, 07:29:20 PM »
Drew and I and my son-in-law Mike headed for Belmar after our local parade. We were headed out and past Joey G coming in around 12:30.
Water temp was up to 61 degrees and the weather conditions was just PERFECT not to hot and flat seas with the breeze out of the north west, Could handle this weather all year long. Didn't have to go far to find the bunker and ended up just North of Asbury park to get into the hot striper bite. It was Mike's first time Striper fishing, I think he is hooked. Took 3 home and released 1 and lost count of the knock downs and dropped fish. When those big boys start chasing bunker out of the water it just makes you want to stay there until the show stops. Once again NO DEAMONS TT^

Nice catch...would love to see the ocean as nice as it was yesterday (Monday).

On the demons...we had a few bunker come back bitten in half...so I think the blues are coming if that makes sense.  Also seem to have a couple follow our snagging hooks...both bass and blues.
