5/25 Plenty of Fluke No Keepers
« on: May 25, 2009, 09:58:23 PM »
Headed out today for a day of Flatty Fishing...broke out of the Shrewsbury into the Bay and was greeted by a Pod of 4 Dolphins, Beautiful creatures. t^

Ran out to the Bug Light and started pulling fish right away......most 17 1/2....made a few changes and still more 17 1/2 fish.

Ran around the tip of the Hook and fished edge of channel...more 17 1/2 fish.

Days total was 32 Fluke between 17 and 17 3/4" all real nice fat healthy fish :'( :'(

No keepers but the rods were bent and had a Happy crew...... will only get better as the water warms TT^

Good job, Capt!  Can't beat the action you had.  Nothing you can do about regs and short fish.

Nice report and catch Capt Bob. Another month and they will be keepers. Just remember where you released them and go back for them.  TT^

We had similar results on YSA. Report to follow.

I think having the season start 1wk later then stay open after Labor day would benefit us all.

Bug light was a zoo for sure....
