out on a limb report 5/30
« on: June 01, 2009, 03:03:37 PM »
I was invited to fish w/ captian jr santos on his charter boat out on a limb on saterday .I was quick to jump on and knew it was gonna be a great day on the water .we set sail in the dark and were netting our bunker by day break ,we loaded up the well w/ enough bait to last all day and headed to the mother land ,we found miles of bunker and worked them for a short while and we boated a 27 lb bass .we made a quick move and it was game on and we were on cow bass for the next 2 hours ,it was insane fishing ,we had 40 lb bass fighting over our baits w/ 3 crashing them at the same time ,we were hooked up at all times and boated countless fish over 30 lbs and 2 over 40 .the best part was he then asked if I wanted to go bottom fishing since we had our fill of huge bass so We shot out to a wreck and pounded the sea bass, ling and black fish .What a day it was it seemed like it took forever to clean all the fish we had ,I have enough fish to last all season in my freezer now.
