Had the pleasure of taking a trip with Capt Joe today.. along with "Bucktail" Bob and Bob "Hareball"..

Report to follow.. but the Bobs came thru with personal bests!!

Bucktail 35# on a white "Bucktail".

Hareball a nice fat 45# on live bunker.

Hotrod.. 1 Missed Run-off and one break off  5hrug

Nice fish guys.

Another great trip on Irish Ayes!! Once again Capt. Joe put us in the right place to land the big fish!! This seems to be a trend here...190# Thresher, 10# 10oz fluke and now a 45# slob striper to add to the list!!

Anyway, thanks to Joe once again for having me out today.  And for helping me catch my second personal best this month!  A 35 pounder!  w0w

It was another great time fishing with Joe, Rod and Bob Hareball!  Congratulations to Hareball on the 45# monster!  cfzd

Great going guys and congrats on the personal best there BB and Hareball.

Way to go Capt. Joe for putting the guys in target.  Rod I feel your pain my friend.  At least you are getting out.  I am having a terrible year in that category.  It seems like whenever there is a trip the wife has other plans.  nosmly

I bet Capt. Joe logged over 40 miles yesterday to find the fish. At the inlet we were greeted with some big swells and the ocean was not much better. There was only a few boats to be seen all day and for once the radio was silent and no bird action. The bunker pods held close to the bottom making the fishfinder the Captains best friend. None of us really expected much action under the conditions so what a surprise for 2 of us to get our personal bests! chrz
