Reel Class PM Bass 6/24 -- More 30#+ Slobs!
« on: June 24, 2009, 10:53:00 PM »
Had the Scott, John, and Steve from Bill Mitchell Photography in Paramus aboard for a 4-8:30 bass trip.

Ran north, got some good intel from Jerry and Carlos there was some life - so we made bait and worked north. Had 1 runoff as soon as I cut back the engines, but that was it, so we ran south and off a little where all the bunker were.

Got an OK bite going down there - wound up with around a dozen bites and 5 fish hooked -- Steve wound up with the big fish, a nice slob of 35#, followed closely by a nice 31# fish taken by Scott...

We missed and/or dropped a lot of fish tonight - fish were biting real weird again - pick up, run, drop, etc. We even had a BIG fish STRAIGHTEN an 8/0 Gami hook - never got a look at her but she dumped half of a 320 Gti in no time

It was a solid afternoon - too tired to upload/post pics on here tonight so I will do it Friday morning and put them on my website. Back at it tomorrow afternoon  TT^

Great job as usual Captain Allen. I think I still hold the record though for biggest fish on your boat with that cow nosed ray I caught a few years ago.  LOL

You are the man!!!!!!!! He writes fishing articles, speaks about fishing at meetings and then goes out and catches fish.   slt chrz

Tight Lines,
