Fish Monger Thurs 6/25 Pm Bass Blowup

This Makes 4 days In a Row Of Good Pm Stripers, with alot of real Nice 20-40lb Class fish this week!!!

Had an Open Boat Trip this afternoon, headed out to flat seas looking for some bass...

Stopped on a pod of bunker and before we even got a couple in the boat we looked to the east and It looked like Bowling balls falling out of the sky!!! 1/2 mile of busting stripers

Forget the Bunker couldnt pass this by.... Broke Out Plugs Poppers swimers and metal...

First drift we didnt boat any just a couple explosions on the plug and misses fish were southbound fast...Set up on them again and we Boated and Lost a few more...

Cont to follow schools of Bass Busting on top for an 1 1/2 hours and Over 4 miles. One drift we went 5 for 5 with multiple fish on at one time... Cont to hook up when we got over them... Boxed up the 6 man Limit between the guys and released a bunch More.Bunch Of Fish In the 30-35lb range

After it died we went and Filled up on Bunker but we only managed One more Fish at 38lbs (Released) Courtesy of Steve Seneff in bunker pods to the north and on reads...

Avid surf fisherman Al had the Hot hand today with the plug... Releasing a bunch of nice ones!!!

Couple More Personal best and first stripers today.

Beside what what we caught, landed or lost it was Very exciting seeing bass doing backflips on plugs and blowing up on top for miles like they did today A truly Sight to remember!!!

Thanks bucktail...

What can I say, Ive been reading Jerry's reports for some time, was all set up for last Thurs pm open boat with my brother in law who had never caught a striper in his life, but got blown out.  :'(

Finally the weather cooperated and as Jerry said, it was a bass blow up. The fish where on the move heading south and Jerry had to do a little running and gunning to keep us on em. The top water action was incredible. Just so happens that my brother in law not only got his first striper but was the first one to hookup and land his fish, he's the guy on the far right of the group shot with the big smile.

My hats off to Jerry and Wayne, those guys worked the butts off for us and run a awesome boat! Thanks again guys!!!! Was a great trip!!

Anyone out there reading his reports and thinking about going out with these guys, stop thinking and start dialing.
