Tuckerton 6/27
« on: June 27, 2009, 04:45:19 PM »
Headed down for some fluking with my brother in law early this morning.

Had good action with short fluke along the ICW and the fish factory area.

The bite was pretty steady early on using a bucktail/Gulp combo. All the fish came on the 1/2 of white bucktail used as a teaser.

That action died so we made a move to the fish factory area where some more shorts were boated on Killies and squid.

On the way back, we got into a school of 2-3lb blues in 3' of water and had some fun for a while.

It was good to feel something tugging on the line.

The last stop was up a creek along Great Bay Blvd for some crabbing. Got a half dozen crabs in an hour. They are boiling as I write this...
