Flukin' 7/7
« on: July 07, 2009, 08:09:00 PM »
Started at the #1 can near Keyport.Wind and tide weren't in sink.Fed the Calico's.Went out the eastern Reach, near the 11A.Fished the drop off.Used all sized and color Gulp.Best bait today, seemed to be a bucktail hook teaser to a leader w/squid and killie. They were jumping on the teaser.Had 8 fish from 18" to 23.5"Wind was out of the south, then it wasn't.Then it was east. When the wind came back around out of the east,it pretty much shut down. When the tide started to run out and the wind was out of the south,it was "fish on".

WOW, seems like Mother Nature was out to get you early on.

You did manage a good day of catching though. Good job.  t^
