Party Boat Angler 08.10.09 Report
« on: August 10, 2009, 05:31:14 PM »
Decided to take a day off today and fish on The Party Boat Angler.  We had enough breeze to keep it comfortable out there.  Once back at the dock, it was hot.

We had about 30 people on board.  Fished in the bay, then out side the hook.  I had two keeper fluke, one good eating size bluefish, fourteen short fluke and five birds.  All caught on a squid strip and smelts.  Matter of fact, a gentleman was fishing next to me and was not having a good day.  Nothing.  I gave him a sand eel and some direction, he caught a 19 inch fluke.  I was happy for him.

One of the pictures you will see is a boat that ran aground on the beach.  Wasn't close enough to get a better shot, but you can see it.

Once again thanks to Captain George, Brian and Christine for another fun time on the water.  Everyone was terrific as always.

Enjoy!

Great report and nice catch!  Nice getting the guy on fish slt.

That spot over by the Hook seems to be a popular place to run aground :-\.

Thank You.  Always remember and please never forget.  The 2009 Summer Flounder Season is brought to you by the efforts of www.ssfff.net.  If you can, please make a donation or buy a shirt or decal.  Even if its just a dollar.   They are working hard to make sure we have a fluke season.  Lets help them out.

Thank you
