Any action off Perth Amboy Piers?

Thinking about going down on Friday morning, is it worth the trip? Or would I do better freshwater fishing up here?

Haven't been down myself in awhile but heard of some action, mostly small bluefish.  Also know of one keeper bass caught in the vicinity.

Probably still fluke around and could always drown a crab for some toy-togs :-X

its always worth the trip...but a couple weeks from now you might have a better chance at some stripes...just my opinion. chrz consider it a warm up.

Went down this morning, nosmly 1 Short fluke,some snapper blues and lost a small striper because I couldn't get the pier net down quick enough. >:(
Other than that a great day my fishing buddy finally caught a fish after 4 weeks of being skunked.

Took a lunch excursion over there.  Peanuts very present in one location.  Bring the cast net.

Report of blackfish coming up in one area up the Kill more.

Going further south for a boat show and hopefully a keeper.
