seabassin' 10/11
« on: October 12, 2009, 05:20:31 PM »
Kept hearing reports all week about stripers and mudhole tuna, but in the end, decided to stick with the sure thing and ran up the beach for some relaxing sea bass fishing. Me, Boomer and John split time between red church and Long Branch for a nice catch of bass, a few porgys and three nice, fat 17" fluke (returned). Big fleet of boats out, seemed like everybody was catching. Hopefully the Striper action will pick up and give us some more options.

Game warden cruised by as we were loading the boat back up at Bry's ramp. Asked how we did, but wasn't interested in looking at our catch. (Glad I threw those fluke back). ;D
