10/23 PPB Surf Report
« on: October 23, 2009, 09:35:30 PM »
Fished south end of PPB surf, 4-6pm... thought I try a few hours prior to the weather getting ugly... too late; the winds are blowing 20-30 knots, with extremely strong surf.  Sand bars have shifted and there is extremely loose sand all over the place. Just walking along the waterline  you could sink a good 18 inches into the sand. Threw metal/teaser setup just to keep myself amused, mostly 3+oz lures. No surprises, no action, no fish, birds were working however.   Be careful if you venture out.  Joe

Thanks Joe for the report.  Condition are not good for a good anything so far.  Once this all quiets down a bit it should heat up.
