You can use Clams, eels or sandworms and should do fine.

AVA 27 with plain hook or green tube, Deadly Dick, Crippled Herring or Vision Sand Eel or Rain Fish, Storms Shads all should work good t^

Clams in the surf, eels from the boat and A27's to A47's with a green tail.Later on a yellow tail. Some times red. It's hard to say.Bring an assortment. If the guy 50 yards up is catching, try tro see what he's using.Have mullet and sand eels leaving the bays and rivers,so try to match the feed.

Clams and bunker chunks right now are hot.  If you are going to use lures make sure you tie on a teaser in a green black and white color.  You will get a number of hits on the teaser for sure.  In fact try a hi lo configuration with a bank sinker and have fun.

Happy Catching
