Had Bob Miller family and friends out with us today for some Striper fishing...
Morning started out on a high note (for me) as I see this huge cake comming aboard, on the side it says Happy Birthday Capt. Ron!! Sue Miller did the honors and it was great! The Montecristos and Single Malt scotch weren't to shabby either!
Oh yea, the fishing....started out with a pick on some short fish, didn't have the current and had to wait for the change of tide. Had a couple keepers and some more shorts as the tide started to run, but it was short lived.
Made a couple moves to only catch a few shorts.
Took a bit of a ride and found the best fishing of the day with 12 year old Jayme Torres catching his first 3 keeper bass and 3 shorts! What a way to start a striper fishing career..
Capt.Ron Sr. took the trip with us and landed 5. High hook for the party also had 5 and the pool fish at 15 pounds.
Great day on the water for a tremendous bunch of people....I always say I have the best customers on the planet! Thanks to all for the gifts and that delicious cake!! Bob and Jim , you truly are the best.....capt.ron
