11/7 fishy photos **just added Video*

just after 5 am today on my way to fish the surf, i took a look in the barny bay and saw good to big fish blasting bait which i swear I think were mullet, was a race against the rising sun but i got this good one and another about 11 and you dont get to say this everyday, I lost the "big one"  :( dropped one a few ticks better right at my feet, then the light started to peek and they stopped feeding



Todays surf bite was a hit avg every 3 casts for about 15-20 mins at first light fishing from the sand bar at low water then the bass pulled out to deeper waters and all the boaters that were in close looked to be hitting them good
made a move north to deeper water and it was steady small blues for all with an occasional bass pulled out from the 25 guys on the stretch

If you ever read my posts about surf fishing i say it over and over and over you can not beat a hard NW wind coming off warm days and south winds. Harder the better, you do not feel a thing at the water line, things change with forecasts but they are calling for another hard NW weds
