HotRod, I cant have this in the Contest, I totally forgot it needed to have a ruler next to it with a dollar bill also. And i came home last night and filleted it up. Greattttt.  :-\ A little late now i guess

It was 22 7/8 inches though, can you make a rough estimated guess by looking at the picture to tell if im lying? Maybe we can call Alex's bait and tackle. LOL!

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

Nice pick up.

How are the flies up your way.  They are killing us down here.  I have changed to going at night or at least at dusk when they subside a little. :-X

Well i measured it as soon as I caught the fish only because I was curious to how long it was, I knew it was above the limit size. However it said 22 7/8" just under 23". I then walked across the Inlet road and weighed it on there outside scale they have there and the reading was just over 4 lbs maybe 4 lbs 2 oz's. It seemed heavier and I can agree with you thinking it weighed 5 lbs i think there scale was wrong. If I'm not mistaken briijones caught a 26 inch fluke that weighed 8 lbs, mine was nearly 23 inches and only 4 lbs, maybe it was a thin fish i had, who knows, LOL.

I cant be in this contest right Rod ?

This year I guess is a trial and error for me and my new hips.  It seems like when I go out I feel better if someone goes with me usually my wife or daughter so I find my self as bait boy.  Thats OK I love just being able to be out there once again.  Wait till next year when all my gear is up to snuff.  Kick But Time... TT^
